• We open our hotel for the New Year holidays.
• In the evening: Festive Christmas gala dinner by candlelight
• 8.00 pm: Concert by the “Symphonic Winds” Orchestra at the Kursaal in Merano

Sunday, 27 December 2026

• Sunday breakfast with Prosecco
• To round off dinner: A selection of cheeses from the Merano region

Monday, 28 December 2026

• 10.00 am: Beautiful circular winter hike in the Hirzer area*
• 8.00 pm: Torchlight walk through the village centre, with mulled wine and Christmas biscuits*

Tuesday, 29 December 2026

• 10.00 am: Guided tour of the centre of Schenna*
• 5.00 pm: Figure skating show at the ice rink in Schenna

Wednesday, 30 December 2026

• 10.00 am: Snowshoe hike with an introduction to snowshoeing in the Hirzer area*
• A group of the Schenna Music Band will perform traditional New Year’s greetings in front of the hotel.

Thursday, 31 December 2026 – Celebrate New Year’s Eve in Schenna

• From 11.00 am: NEW YEAR’S EVE APERITIVO with DJ Gianni at Raiffeisen Square in Schenna
• 10.00 am–3.00 pm: Ice skating at Raiffeisen Square in the village centre
• Approx. 1.30 pm: Open-air concert by the Schenna Music Band at Raiffeisen Square

Look forward to a festive New Year’s Eve filled with exquisite cuisine, sparkle and unforgettable moments.

• 6.30 pm: Festive New Year’s Eve reception with Mrs and Mr Hofer and the Grafenstein team, accompanied by exquisite hors d’oeuvres
• Followed by an exquisite 7-course gala dinner by candlelight, accompanied by classical music
• We’ll dance our way into 2027 to oldies and popular hits (no live music).
• After the New Year’s greetings, accompanied by waltz music and fireworks on the terrace, midnight snacks will be served at 12.45 am to keep you going.

Friday, 1 January 2027 – New Year’s Day

• From 9.00 am: New Year’s breakfast with Prosecco to help you recover from the celebrations, flowing seamlessly from 11.00 am to 1.30 pm into a Bavarian brunch featuring traditional white sausages (Weißwurst).
• Ice skating in the village centre
• 5.00 pm: New Year’s Concert with the Haydn Orchestra at the Kursaal in Merano
• 7.00 pm: Festive New Year’s gala dinner by candlelight

Saturday, 2 January 2027

• Enjoy a 20% discount today on a traditional South Tyrolean hay bath at the Grafenstein Spa.
• Figure skating show at Raiffeisen Square

• 11.00 am: Traditional Lattlschießen ice-stock shooting competition at the Schenna ice rink*
• To round off dinner: Kaiserschmarrn party at our show buffet

Wednesday, 6 January 2027 – Epiphany

• We bid farewell to our guests with a small gift and close our hotel until 24 March 2027.
• 5.00 pm: Epiphany concert by the Algund Music Band at the Kurhaus in Merano

• In the afternoon from 2:30 pm – 4:30 pm: Grafenstein afternoon buffet with savoury and sweet treats

• The Merano Christmas Market and South Tyrol’s Christmas markets are open from 26 November 2026 to 6 January 2027.
• Ice skating from 20 November 2026 to 6 January 2027 on Raiffeisen Square in Schenna.
• 19 November 2026 to 10 January 2026: LUMAGICA enchants the Botanical Gardens in Merano with hundreds of light objects.
